"It was wonderful and relaxing!!!" We had such a great honeymoon! Everyone was so helpful and we loved the condo and watching the sea turtles everyday!!! Great Vacation Retreats is the way to go!!! We will definitely be booking with them in the future!!! Thank you for making our honeymoon perfect!!!

"Par Excellence"This was a vacation of a lifetime for me. The condo was absolutely perfect; it truly was home away from home! The views of the mountain from the bedroom and the water views from the kitchen and living areas were fabulous. I loved all the windows and since this is an end unit, it felt like having the outdoors in. The front and back porches were an added bonus. Amy, you and your staff are the best! Like the title states, my stay was Par Excellence! Mahalo!

"Kauai-2011" Once again, we visited Kauai and, again, rented from Great Vacation Retreats (GVR) and were absolutely thrilled with our condo. Rv120 was located in an excellent area of Poipu Beach with easy access to Lihue and/or the West Locales but still in a quiet area. Amy and the team are incomparable to work with and having the option of booking activities directly thru GVR is a bonus, as well. With Rv120 having central air conditioning, it was always pleasant when we returned to the condo after a day in the sun and didn't have to wait for natural ventilation to cool the unit down!!! A huge plus in our book!!! Our one issue with the unit was that the clothes dryer was "on the blink" for the week that we were there. But in true GVR form, Amy and her team responded and provided us with an acceptable solution/alternative!!! Thanks GVR!! We appreciate GVR so much that we questioned them when they would have a presence on the other Islands, specifically Maui and the "Big Island" (Kona) and to our delight they responded that they have a few prospects. Even at the other Islands; our first, and only, preference, would be properties managed by GVR. Thanks, Amy and Carly. You are truly the greatest!!

"Exceptional family retreat"The best thing we cans say is...we don't know when we can pull off another family vacation like this but when we do, we will be back!! We have a new out of college-working child, one in college child and one high school child. Finding a place that gives us all something to do and our own space is tough to do. Except for the weather (it rained hard and for hours and hours 5 days out of 8) We had a delightful retreat! The convenience of having a car included, beach stuff delivered, pages and pages of information sent to us prior to our trip was priceless. All the information sent from Great vacations prior to our arrival took away the anxiety and time it takes to get to know the area before your vacation truly starts. Our vacation started as soon as we met Lou at the airport with our car!

"Paradise in Paradise" We recently ended our 18 day stay in Kauai with 6 days in Princeville at Pu'u Op #413 and we definitely "saved the best for last"! The condo was spectacular! Inside was very roomy, spotless, everything we needed - outside was the most beautiful view ever! And you could see the Pacific from almost every room. The location was terrific - right next to the St. Regis and also a walk away from the terrific new restaurant, Infigo's. Hideaways Beach right below the cliffs is beautiful.  This was the perfect ending to our trip to Kauai. Great Vacation Retreats was amazing to work with. If we travel to Paradise again we will definitely use GVR and be staying at Pu'u Op.

This was our 4th trip to Poipu, the first time with kids and staying at Whalers. Condo 222 was perfect for our family and Great Vacation Retreats was very accomodating and easy to work with. Gvr has great communication and made traveling easy! This condo had the best view, privacy and the island feel we wanted! It had everything we needed and more. We saw turtles right off the lanai and whales & dolphins with a zoom lense. The pool area was a great way to end our day. Whaler's is very private, quiet, and relaxing. We can only hope to visit again someday soon!

We just returned from our 4th or 5th year in a row at Whaler's Cove #212 and everything was just as perfect as the previous trips. The condo is absolutely beautiful and the location is convenient, yet peaceful, allowing for a restful, relaxing vacation. The view from the lanai is breathtaking!! We enjoyed most of our meals from that spot. The grounds and pool area are beautiful and immaculately maintained. Amy and the staff at Great Vacation Retreats are wonderful to work with and we highly recommend their services and accommodations!

Poipu Shores Condo 101 -B is awesome. The location is perfect~next to a cove where the sea turles feed. At night you hear the waves crashing! The condo has everyhing you can think of plus a washer/dryer. Every kitchen gadget plus spices . It is nicely decorated. Comfortable bed with wonderful bathrooms ( including a tub ) and air-conditioning. The two Tv's was an added bonus. Yes, this condo has it all :) It was a pleasure staying there & we will be back. Thank you Carly for all your assistance & wonderful personality !!!

The condo was spectacular. Great location. Easy access. Absolutely no complaints! We'd come back any day and we will! there was a rainbow every morning and whales every morning. Comfortable beds, clean bathrooms - can i come back please?
