Those looking to experience a luau dinner and show in Poipu can look to attend the Grand Hyatt Kauai Luau, also known as “Luau Havaiki Nui.” Attendees will discover a mix of traditional and modern Hawaiian foods while embracing the world of Polynesia through dance and song. The event takes place at the resort, every week on Sundays and Thursdays from 5:30 PM – 8 PM.  For more information and booking: http://grandhyattkauailuau.com/default.aspx

Spa:

The Anara Spa, at 45,000 square feet, makes it the largest spa on Kauai. It includes a 24-hour StayFit gym and open-air yoga and fitness classes, all of which are available to non-hotel guests who have made special spa treatment purchases. There is also a 5-day spa/fitness pass for non-hotel guests for $175 or a 10-day pass for $300. For more information and booking: http://kauai.hyatt.com/hyatt/pure/spas/about/fitness.jsp

Golf:

Poipu Bay Golf boasts 210 oceanfront acres that feature 85 bunkers, five water hazards, and varying trade winds. Tropical plants and flowers blanket 30 acres of this 18-hole course. Players may even find themselves crossing paths with Hawaii’s endangered native “nene” geese; humpback whales can also be spotted just offshore during the winter months. Home of the PGA Grand Slam of Golf for a number of years, this course combines the challenge that avid golfers seek with the beauty of Kauai.
