The Hawai‘i Lodging & Tourism Association invites everyone of every age to walk 3.0 miles. Those under 12 years old must be accompanied by an adult and walkers under the age of 18 must have this application signed by a parent or guardian.

May 26, 2018 - TEA CEREMONY IN THE HALL OF COMPASSION

All are welcome to experience a day in the ancient tradition of Japanese tea ceremony from the Urasenke Kaua'i Kyoukai tea association at the Lawai International Center. This rare event is being held in the Hall of Compassion, a hand carved structure true to 13th - century architecture built with the hands and hearts of masters from Asia and volunteers from Kaua'i. Soothing shakuhachi (ancient Japanese flute) music by Kyle Chew opens each session. Light refreshments will be served.

An exciting family event up top in Koke'e at the Civilian Conservation Corps Camp. It combines education of the forest environment with good fun and games.
