Fitness on Kauai

Their classes incorporate yoga and plyometric circuits that will surely make you sweat, burn, and have a good time while doing it. This style of fitness also ditches traditional weights in place of high-intensity body weight movements with short breaks in-between to truly keep your blood flowing and your breath short. The drills incorporate dancing components, as well, with music that creates a vibrant workout space throughout the session. To get a better idea of what exactly O.F.F is, here is a link to their media outlets. There you can view pictures and videos that introduce you to their fitness journey.
O.F.F. Kauai classes are reservations only, so make sure you take the the time to secure your spot!

A lot of people like to make jokes about crossfit because it’s unorthodox and it’s unfamiliar to fitness enthusiasts who are enveloped strictly in classic powerlifting and bodybuilding. Have you ever seen those notoriously bizarre pull-ups on Youtube where the individual conducting the exercise is flopping around, essentially using momentum to swing themselves up? Believe it or not, it’s a real exercise and is called a kipping pull-up. Crossfitter’s do that because it aids in strength and flexibility when performing a weightlifting snatch. See, crossfit is as legitimate as any other long-standing fitness program. Trust me, when you’re gasping for air trying to squeeze in another rep, you’ll find it’s no joke.
Want to give it a try? Whether you’re new to the game or not, Poipu has a dedicated team of instructors that have built a community around the world of crossfit; they call themselves Crossfit Poipu and they operate out of the Southside Sports Center. If you’re on vacation and you don’t plan on skipping a beat, contact them and get ready to put in work.
