You can reserve a property online by choosing the property that you like and clicking on “Book Now” or by calling us at 808.742.9202 or toll free at 877-263-7687.

A minimum deposit of $500.00 is required to reserve a property. (this may be larger depending on the property you are reserving or the length of the reservation) The balance is due 60 days prior to arrival. We accept eChecks, all major credit cards, personal or company checks and cashier’s checks.

Cancellation Policy

We understand that your travel plans may have been affected by COVID -19 and we have changed our normal cancellation policies.

 A mandatory 14-day quarantine for trans-pacific travelers is in effect to July 31st. Our vacation rentals are only available to island residents or visitors who are no longer subject to quarantine. No person that is subject to the mandatory self-quarantine is allowed to stay in these operations unless they are the owner of the property.

We have issued refunds to guests that were unable to reschedule had planned to stay with us during that time. This policy will also apply for all future reservations that may be disrupted by the uncertain nature of this pandemic.

A full refund, minus a service fee of $50 or 3% (whichever is greater), will be given for cancelation made in writing 30 days before the check-in date. Cancellations made within 14 – 29 days will receive a 50% refund.

Most properties have a lockbox by the front door or a keyless entry lock. After final payment you will be given the code and you will be able to go directly to the property to check in.

This varies from property to property but is usually 2 – 7 nights. Please inquire with our staff regarding a shorter stay.

A full list of property amenities is included on the property detail section of the website. All properties offer linens, towels, beach towels, hairdryer, wireless internet, and cable television. Great Vacation Retreats also provides a starter set of toilet paper, paper towels, garbage bags, dishwashing soap and detergent, laundry detergent and kitchen sponge. You will receive a starter kit of Kauai Coffee Company coffee and condiment packs. Also provided are complimentary Island Soap and Candle Works toiletries including shampoo, conditioner, body wash and lotion. After the starter set is diminished it is up to the guest to replace any items that they might need for the duration of their visit. If you need something special please do not hesitate to ask!

We request that before you leave, you start the dishwasher, throw out any opened food items and take out the trash. A cleaning fee has been added to your reservation amount and will be used to deep clean the property after your departure. Excessive cleaning and trash will result in extra charges to your credit card.

The check out time is 10:00 a.m. If we have no scheduled check ins or scheduled maintenance on the day you leave you can have one of two options:  1) A 12:00 p.m. check out for free of charge, or 2) You can guarantee your late check out by reserving the property for the day ahead of time. For those guests staying at a property with complimentary Poipu Beach Athletic Club membership – their Departure Pass Program offers those who have checked out of their vacation accommodation a place to store their baggage and is a great place to relax for the day before a late flight.

NO. There is a strict no smoking policy at all properties, including lanais. Hawaii has adopted a new law that allows for no smoking within 20 feet of doors and windows. Please go to the marked designated smoking areas outside the building if you wish to smoke.

All of our properties have a no pet policy except for Pili Mai 10C. If you have a seeing eye dog or other service animal, please let our staff know.
