You can reserve a property online by choosing the property that you like and clicking on “Book Now” or by calling us at 808.742.9202 or toll free at 866.820.5062.
A minimum deposit of $500.00 is required to reserve a property. (this may be larger depending on the property you are reserving or the length of the reservation) The balance is due 60 days prior to arrival. We accept eChecks, all major credit cards, personal or company checks and cashier’s checks.
***COVID-19 Cancellations: We understand that your travel plans may have been affected by COVID -19 and we have changed our normal cancellation policies. All travel to the island for vacation purposes has been suspended until at least April 30, 2020. (Please visit KAUAI.GOV/COVID-19) We have issued refunds to all guests that had planned to stay with us during that time. If you have travel plans for after that date, and for whatever reason you are not able to travel, please contact us to re-book your dates or cancel your reservation. This policy will also apply for all future reservations that may be disrupted by the uncertain nature of this pandemic.
Cancellation Policy: A full refund, minus a service fee of $50 or 3% (whichever is greater), will be given for cancelation made in writing 60 days before the check-in date. For reservations canceled within 60 days of check-in, no refunds will be given unless property can be re-rented. Whatever portion of the reservation that can be re-rented will be returned minus a 10% re-booking fee.
Most properties have a lockbox by the front door or a keyless entry lock. After final payment you will be given the code and you will be able to go directly to the property to check in.
This varies from property to property but is usually 2 – 7 nights. Please inquire with our staff regarding a shorter stay.
A full list of property amenities is included on the property detail section of the website. All properties offer linens, towels, beach towels, hairdryer, wireless internet, and cable television. Great Vacation Retreats also provides a starter set of toilet paper, paper towels, garbage bags, dishwashing soap and detergent, laundry detergent and kitchen sponge. You will receive a starter kit of Kauai Coffee Company coffee and condiment packs. Also provided are complimentary Island Soap and Candle Works toiletries including shampoo, conditioner, body wash and lotion. After the starter set is diminished it is up to the guest to replace any items that they might need for the duration of their visit. If you need something special please do not hesitate to ask!
We request that before you leave, you start the dishwasher, throw out any opened food items and take out the trash. A cleaning fee has been added to your reservation amount and will be used to deep clean the property after your departure. Excessive cleaning and trash will result in extra charges to your credit card.
The check out time is 10:00 a.m. If we have no scheduled check ins or scheduled maintenance on the day you leave you can have one of two options: 1) A 12:00 p.m. check out for free of charge, or 2) You can guarantee your late check out by reserving the property for the day ahead of time. NO. There is a strict no smoking policy at all properties, including lanais. Hawaii has adopted a new law that allows for no smoking within 20 feet of doors and windows. Please go to the marked designated smoking areas outside the building if you wish to smoke.
All of our properties have a no pet policy except for Pili Mai 10C. If you have a seeing eye dog or other service animal, please let our staff know.
